But can we talk about a more subtle trend that has spread across the country? Have your partner’s initials on your jewelry.

We know that nothing says romance more than a bit of jewelry. Historically and notably, giving and receiving jewelry has been synonymous with romance, usually a symbol of commitment and devotion (after all, diamonds are a girl’s best friend!). Lately, however, the newest trend for getting into the chat is specifically having your partner’s initials on your jewelry. Will this trend dethrone the diamond ring as king? (gasp!) While the meaning is still synonymous with romance, there seems to be something even more special about publicly placing your partner’s initials for everyone to see as jewelry.
