Beyoncé Debuts Bleached Blonde Hair, Reunites Destiny’s Child and More at ‘Renaissance’ Movie Premiere

Beyonce appeared at the world premiere of his film, Renaissance: a Beyoncé moviewith a surprise that only the queen could keep a secret: bleached blonde hair.

Looking fresh out of Barbie film, Beyoncé hit the silver carpet Saturday night at the Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, for a star-studded screening of the concert film she directed, produced and (obviously) starred in. Since queens are never late and everyone else is. Early on, Beyoncé was one of the last guests to arrive, showing off her long, shiny new hair. Wearing it straight down her back, grazing her waist, Beyoncé’s new hair made the singer-songwriter and director shine against the chrome backdrop.

the musician wore a form-fitting Versace dress that matched her critically acclaimed overall aesthetic. Renaissance album and world tour. Her silver dress hugged her and reached down to her silver heels. Beyoncé paired her dress with silver gloves that stretched the length of her arm.

the premiere brought out some of the biggest names, including the reunion of all three members of Destiny’s Child. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams walked the chrome carpet in front of their former bandmate, Beyoncé, but they shined just as well. Rowland kept with the silver theme, wearing a mid-length dress with a pointed bodice shape reminiscent of Madonna.

Michelle Williams came dressed all in black, wearing a gorgeous trimmed ensemble with a tulle train and thigh-high black boots.

Other attendees included Halle and Chloe Bailey, lizzo, issa rae, Gabrielle Union, Kris Jenner and more. Beyoncé’s dancers and collaborators, including Les Twins and Honey Balenciaga, also walked the carpet.

the evening itself was as mysterious as Beyoncé is, according to Variety. Attendees received a save-the-date invitation, but no address and only a “cozy opulence” dress code. the film’s premiere location was revealed less than 24 hours before the film’s start. the phones were locked in security bags.

Renaissance: a Beyoncé moviewill be released in theaters on December 1 and is dedicated to the musician’s late uncle Johnny, who died of an AIDS-related illness and whose inspiration is scattered throughout. Renaissance. December 1 is also World AIDS Day.

Her film comes just weeks after Taylor Swift released her film Eras Tour in theaters. Beyonce attended the world premiere from Swift’s concert film, walking the red carpet with Swift and posing for a photo. Swift later posted a sweet message on Instagram about Beyoncé, calling her a “guiding light” and gushing about her “generosity of spirit, resilience and versatility.”

He Renaissance the film will have another premiere in London later this week before its release.
