Levi’s launches Barbie Ferreira collaborative line in select stores in India

Denim and casual wear brand Levi’s has launched its collaborative clothing line with the actress and creative. Barbie Ferreira. the line was launched on the brand’s e-commerce store in India and launched in select stores in the country.

“This collection was inspired by my love of beautiful scenes and creating a story with my everyday wardrobe,” Barbie Ferreira said of the collaboration in a press release. “I wanted to interpret silhouettes that recalled the costumes of my favorite movies. “For me it was important that the collection lived halfway between a dark fairy tale and a nostalgic dream.”

Notable pieces from the collection include an “oversized long dress coat” in black denim, a “Second Skin top” in a ’90s-style abstract print, a chartreuse pleated distressed hem skirt, and a corset. with laces, among others. Ferreira worked with Levi’s design team to create the collection and was inspired by her personal aesthetic.

the Levi’s x Barbie Ferreria collection was launched at the brand’s stores at DLF Mall of India in Noida and Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. the launch of the collaborative line in India shows Levi’s focus on the country and the brand has also recently opened several new stores in India, including Ranchi’s Mall of Ranchi. In October, Levi’s named India as its largest Asian market and sixth largest global market.
