Earlier this week, when the Australian actor was spotted outside the Today At his show in New York City, he expanded on the classic look with a massive black coat that will go with absolutely everything and elevate any menswear combination imaginable. For Elordi, that meant a pair of oversized aviators, blue jeans, brown Derby shoes, and a slightly worn copy of WH Auden’s Selected poems, which feels quite salty burn coded – his upcoming homoerotic, moneyed dramedy opposite Barry Keoghan. But, as always, it was the coat that made the men nod approvingly.

the wool piece (strategically placed over a chunky knit sweater, FYI) features a single-breasted design with a chunky, buttoned configuration. It’s shocking, but easy, and has all the obligatory villainous flair you’d expect from a mega coat (and Elordi had plenty of that given the fact that it hangs perfectly on a 6’4 frame. It’s a great, amazing coat).
