Watches inspired by color studies: watch collection 2

[ad_1]

the artist Josef Albers and the engraver Anni Albers present together with Projects a special collection of watches. the design theme arises from Josef’s exploration of color and Anni’s textile art. the collection consists of three designs and can be worn anywhere.

It starts with the Persistent clock and the Wide Light clock, inspired by Josef Albers’ Homage to the Square series, which are paintings that have a systematic application of colors. Explore this concept through the subjective nature we experience in our senses. the two watches are defined by the abstract geometric colors that are stacked on the dial. the last watch is the 1925, which is inspired by the tones of Anni Albers’ textile tapestries in a circular dial watch.
