Rado appoints Katrina Kaif as new brand ambassador

Swiss watch manufacturer Rado has appointed Bollywood actress and celebrity Katrina Kaif as its new global brand ambassador to promote its luxury watches. Kaif begins her new role by starring in a video to promote the brand’s Rado Centrix watch.

“We are delighted to welcome Katrina Kaif to the Rado family,” Rado CEO Adrian Bosshard said in an Oct. 25 press release. “Her timeless beauty and her global recognition align perfectly with Rado’s founding principles. We look forward to this journey of redefining luxury together.”

Kaif was chosen for her combination of style and substance, according to the brand. Choosing an Indian celebrity as its global brand ambassador demonstrates Rado’s commitment to continued expansion in the Indian market and the growing importance of India in the global luxury market.
