TO swimsuits the launch is exciting because it usually indicates that summer is just around the corner, but Reform goes one step further with the launch of its new sustainable swimwear line.
As a brand, Reformation is already a fan (and celebrity) favorite, but the brand continues to come up with more reasons to support it with its new foray into swimwear. While the brand originally launched swimsuits in 2019 made from regenerated nylon, ECONYL, it was just a small dip. Enter today’s new Reformation swim collection, which is made from leftover ECONYL pieces and a new non-synthetic fabric derived from 100% renewable plants called EVO by Fulgar. (Spoiler alert: the bio-based polyamide fabric is not only renewable, but it’s also super soft.)
“Our new swimsuit is designed to wear almost nothing and leave almost no trace. Made with renewable plant-based materials or nylon regenerated from waste by our partners at Fulgar® and ECONYL®. Half naked never felt so good “, Reformation’s website reads. Prices range from $68 to $168 and styles are available in sizes XS-XL.
Fabrics aside, Reformation’s swimsuit silhouettes are suitable for different body types and are vintage-inspired—think classic solids and signature prints the brand is known and loved for. There is something for all tastes, from monkeys cuts to two floral pieces and even polka dot bikinis. the idea behind the collection is to be able to hit the beach and then transition into summer evening chic, so fittingly, most of the swimsuits can be worn under your favorite beach dresses and suits. of Reformation.
To celebrate the new swimsuit drop, Tina Kunkey stars in the collection’s campaign. You can now shop Reformation swimsuits starting March 18, 2024. online, in select stores and on Shopbop. Check out some of our favorite styles below:
