Kim Kardashian rocks a Y2K layered look while in Paris

the reality TV star and businesswoman thanked her fans with a photo dump from her stay in Paris earlier this month. fashion Week. the Instagram photo series includes lush Parisian hotel rooms, flower arrangements, croissants and coffee, and of course, plenty of outfit photos. One of those photos included a Balenciaga ensemble in which millennials clutched her pearls.

Miss Kimberly was photographed wearing a black t-shirt with three layers of various tank tops on top of each other. She paired the early-aughts-inspired cut with lace tights with white bottoms (or is it attached to the white tank top?). In Kardashian’s hand was a chunky black bag adorned with various accessories. Luckily there were no layered Abercrombie & Fitch polos (IYKYK).

Kardashian made her rounds at several fashion shows in early March, including Balenciaga’s fall-winter 2024/2025 collection. the show included the aforementioned layered outfit, which Kardashian opted not to wear while she sat front row. As a Balenciaga ambassador, Kardashian appeared in a long lace dress with a high neck and open back.

Kim Kardashian has long been associated with Balenciaga and sports their signature. sunglasses with googly eyes and wearing the infamous Met Gala 2021 outfit that covered her entire face and body. It wasn’t until 2024 that Kardashian officially became an ambassador for the brand, solidifying her role as their muse and partner.

Balenciaga made a splash in December 2023 after holding a extravagant fashion show on Windsor Boulevard in broad daylight in Los Angeles. Guests, including Kardashian, Nicole Kidman, Joey King, Kendall Jenner and more, carried Balenciaga x Erwhon grocery bags as purses. Meanwhile, Cardi B made her runway debut, strutting through the streets of Los Angeles in a faux blue coat that grazed her ankles.
