Dua Lipa looks radiant in a leather dress for the BRIT Awards 2024

Dua Lipas “training season” might refer to being sick of dating, but we’d say the real workout is being able to look effortlessly glamorous in a skin-tight leather dress.

the pop superstar walked the red carpet at the 2024 BRIT Awards on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London. the British singer was the opening performance at the music awards ceremony, very similar to the Grammy Awards 2024. But before taking the stage, Lipa treated photographers to a red carpet appearance.

Lipa’s striking black dress was a mix of powerful femininity with a “don’t mess with me” vibe. the long dress, made by Versace, of course, hugged Lipa at her waist before fanning out in a mermaid shape at her bottom. the black dress appears to be made of leather or some other shiny material.

Lipa paired the dress with a unique thick chain necklace (a little punk rock) and a chunky bracelet. She left her long red hair down and sported sleek black cat-eye makeup.

Donatella Versace proudly posted a video of Dua Lipa on her personal Instagram, showing Versace’s muse on the red carpet. She wrote in the caption: “Speechless! @dualipa you are a vision in Versace, as always. No one British people like you!! I love you.”

Shortly after her arrival, Lipa went straight into pop star mode. the singer kicked off the awards show with an electric performance of her latest single, “Training Day.” the single is the second from her upcoming album (which has not yet been publicly named), following “Houdini.”

Dua Lipa has been keeping busy the last year (or a few years, actually). She appeared in Barbie film as a siren, as well as making a catchy song for the soundtrack that also appears prominently in the film. After the success of BarbieSince then, Lipa has focused on promoting her own work. Her third studio album is on the way, but she has not revealed when. Lipa revealed that she wrote 97 songs in total, but only the good ones made the cut. I guess we’ll find out soon what they are.
