London designer Wales Bonner is no stranger to adidas and during the showcase of his Marathon capsule for SS24, a new pair of adidas sneakers was spotted. It is bold in nature with a partially metallic silver frame and a snakeskin pattern on the other half.
On closer inspection, it appears to embody a retro aesthetic, similar to other revivals from the German brand. the snakeskin pattern is seen decorating most of the upper from the toe and along the sides with faint stitching details including Three Stripes branding on the sides. the collar is lined in green to create a tonal contrast with the silver on the heel unit. Branding continues in white across the heel and forefoot.
