Adidas Originals launches new campaign in India with Ranveer Singh

Sportswear brand adidas Originals has teamed up with Bollywood celebrity Ranveer Singh to launch a new campaign for the Indian market. the campaign film accompanies its global celebrity marketing campaign celebrating its ‘Trefoil’ logo and brand identity.

In his new role for Adidas Originals, Singh explores his journey to becoming an actor, emphasizing how Adidas Originals has been there every step of his journey, the brand announced in a press release on September 26. the campaign film begins with Singh stating, “As long as I can remember, I always wanted to be an actor,” and chronicles his rise to fame from there.

“From sports to skateboarding, music to fashion, the Originals have always stood the test of time. Set against the backdrop of three timeless ‘characters’ from the historic Three Stripes archive: the Superstar, the Gazelle and the Samba, each of the three main films in the global campaign highlights a different silhouette, as the narratives of the history of the Trefoil “They are intertwined with the ways in which these iconic styles, born in sport, have been adopted, reinterpreted and absorbed into culture, time and time again,” the brand announced in a press release. “with partners, collaborators and friends of the brand who have helped tell the Trefoil story around the world, superstar Ranveer Singh leads the campaign narrative for India alongside her global counterparts. Zinedine Zidane, David BeckhamJenna Ortega, Pusha T, to name a few.”
