Saritoria partners with Bhumi Pednekar to sell celebrity wardrobes

Popular used clothing platform Saritoria has joined forces with Bollywood celebrity Bhumi Pednekar to sell shoppers a curated selection of clothes from Pednekar’s personal wardrobe. In addition to allowing the public to shop the actress’s wardrobe, the move is designed to promote sustainable fashion.

Her wardrobe featured on Saritoria is perfect for modern millennials or Generation Z with a range of brands from ultra-high-end Jacquemus to the more affordable House of CB. Saritoria has more than 10,000 users and plans to continue taking advantage of the growing demand for luxury and premium second-hand fashion. the company plans to open centers across India in the next five years and grow its user and seller base.

“I think in the West there are many platforms that give you the opportunity to buy vintage and second-hand pieces; in India we don’t have many,” Pednekar said. Saritoria is one of the first and I really like their aesthetic and what they were trying to do… “So, when this opportunity came, I took it and realized that there are so many things inside my wardrobe that I don’t wear in this moment for various reasons. but there might be someone else who would love this piece or who would love to wear it and it might bring more joy to their life, so we did this collaboration, from which all proceeds go to charity and really I hope we can do many more of these.”
