Today, January 17, Rhode announced the launch of the first cleanser, Pineapple Refresh, as a “new daily cleansing experience designed with a unique texture.” In parallel with the launch, the brand launched a tropical escape campaign starring its founder, Hailey Rhode Bieber, with Ajok Daing, Candice Swanepoel and Bianca Blakeney.

the cleanser has been years in the making and the goal was to create a “gentle daily cleanser with a lush sensory texture” that can rinse away all impurities without drying out the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed.

While the cleanser officially launches on January 25, the brand sent samples to select beauty users around the world to try it out before the launch. Easy to use, the cleanser is applied to wet hands, rubbed and applied to face before rinsing thoroughly. There is a noticeable softness to the skin after rinsing. the best part? After patting your face dry after use, there are no signs of dry skin that sometimes occurs with other stripping cleansers. As for the cleanser’s key ingredients, there are three: polyglutamic acid, green tea extract, and pineapple enzymes, each with their own skin-rejuvenating qualities, of course.
